Health & Safety Guidelines
SJSharksTickets is committed to providing all the information you need to maintain a healthy and fun experience at San Jose sharks games. Please take time to read through the safety guidelines as SAP Center has a very strict health code.
Health Check Requirements
All fans age 24 months and older entering SAP Center on a Sharks game-day are required to have EITHER proof of full vaccination, which is a completed vaccination at least two weeks prior to the day of the game OR proof of a negative PCR COVID test within 72 hours of the game OR a negative Rapid Antigen Test on the day of the game they are planning to attend.
Fans who meet these requirements need to pre-register for entry using LINK. Then, upon arrival at SAP Center, fans are to visit the Teal & Black tents in SAP Center’s Lot A and present their Vaccination Card and/or negative test results along with a valid ID. Upon verification, fans will be provided a wristband used in conjunction with their tickets for entry into SAP Center.
COVID-19 Testing
The Sharks have partnered with Total Testing Solutions to provide a convenient way to register for entry with test results. Fans can schedule an appointment between 10AM and 4PM PT on non-gamedays to take a COVID-19 test in SAP Center's Parking Lot A at no cost. On gamedays, fans can come to SAP Center up to 3 hours prior to the start of the schedule game time to receive a Rapid Antigen Test at the cost of $50 per test. Visit Fan Safety Hub for more info.
Facial Covering Requirements
To ensure the safety of all guests and staff members, everyone age 24 months and older is required to wear facial coverings at all times while at SAP Center except when actively eating or drinking in areas designated for dining. This includes parking lots and security screening areas.
Face shields may not be worn in place of a face mask, though they may be worn in addition to a face mask. Please also note that neck gaiters, facial covering with exhalation valves, and/or bandanas do not meet the facial covering requirements for entry into SAP Center.
SAP Center No Bag Policy
Only bags carrying items that are medical in nature and/or diaper bags that accompany a child wearing diapers will be permitted into SAP Center. Guests carrying bags of any other type, including purses, clutches and wallets that do not fit inside a standard pocket, will be asked to return them to their vehicle or store them for a nominal fee in the newly installed BinBox Lockers located on Autumn Street.
All medical and diaper bags will be subject to X-Ray screening at the North Entrance of SAP Center with approved bags being tagged prior to entry into the venue.
Advance Purchase Digital Ticketing
To provide a contactless entry experience for guests, all tickets for events at SAP Center are digital and available to guests through their mobile devices. Physical tickets are no longer being issued.
Additionally, there will be no day-of-game ticket sales at SAP Center. Tickets purchased through SAP Center and/or the San Jose Sharks will be available only through the Sharks + SAP Center or Ticketmaster mobile apps and/or mobile web.
To ensure both your safety and our adherence to the California State Guidelines that stipulate fans seated together are to be members of the same household, ticket transfer and ticket resale capabilities will be unavailable for the remainder of the 2020-21 season.
